STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is an independent product label for all types of textiles tested for harmful substances – from yarns and fabrics to the ready-to-use items that you can buy in the shops.

STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified clothing inspire confidence in the clothes you buy by ensuring that environmental and corporate responsibility were respected. No harmful substances and toxins were used during all stages of production creating a safer working conditions for all employees and make the garment hypoallergenic.

This includes testing for illegal substances, legally regulated substances, known harmful (but not legally regulated) chemicals, and other parameters for health care. It provides manufacturers with a uniform benchmark when evaluating harmful substances potentially used in the production process.

Extensive product checks and regular company audits also ensure that the industry has a globally sustainable awareness of the responsible use of chemicals.

STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® testing is suitable for all types of textiles available today – For athleisure, activewear and functional sports clothing made of synthetic fibres as well as for casual shirts made of organic cotton or in our case athletic wear made of Tencel Lyocell (Problematic substances can enter into the products at all stages of production such as pre-treatment (cleaning), dyeing, finishing or textile printing.)

The OEKO-TEX® test and certification system is centrally issued by the International Association for Research and Testing in the Field of Textile and Leather Ecology (OEKO-TEX®) with headquarters in Zurich.
